Africa Agility is intentionally closing the gender gap in technology by helping girls access educational opportunities in technology, and digital agile methods. We are supporting the global movement to address the prevalent issue — the under-represented women of color in tech through the following programs.
Our Programs
Girls in Tech
Empower young African girls with technical skills, mentorship, and access to opportunities in the tech ecosystem.
Key Activities:
- Intensive 12-week boot camp covering 10 tech tracks.
- Grading based on assignments, attendance, quizzes, group work, and hackathon participation.
- Trainer and participant onboarding, bi-weekly assignments, and regular quizzes to reinforce learning.
Girls in Tech equips participants with the skills to pursue tech careers and contribute to the digital economy.
Edugility
Enhancing access to quality education by incorporating agile methodologies into teaching and learning processes.
Key Activities:
- Partnering with schools and educators to integrate agile principles into curriculums.
- Workshops and resources to empower teachers with innovative tools for classroom management
Edugility fosters adaptive learning environments and equip students with critical thinking and collaboration skills.
Microcredentials Program
Provides industry-recognized certifications in key tech skills to boost employability and career advancement.
Key Activities:
- Short, focused courses in areas such as programming, data analysis, and project management.
- Collaboration with industry partners to validate and co-design certification content
Microdentials Program creates a pathway for participants to quickly gain market-relevant skills and secure employment.
IncubateH3R
Supporting women-led startups with mentorship, resources, and funding opportunities.
Key Activities:
- Incubation of early-stage ideas with a focus on tech-enabled solutions.
- Access to mentors, funding, and networking opportunities.
IncubateH3R empowers women entrepreneurs to scale their businesses and drive economic impact in their communities.
MentorH3R
Bridges the gender gap in technology by providing mentorship opportunities to young women.
- Structured mentorship focusing on personal and professional growth.
- Sessions on critical topics such as personal branding, growth management, and capstone projects.
- Community and hackathon projects to foster practical engagement.
MentorH3R enables mentees to grow in confidence and capability while building valuable networks in the tech space. management, and capstone projects.
Mobilizing grassroots advocates to amplify Africa Agility’s mission and drive gender inclusivity in tech.es.
- Training in Monitoring & Evaluation frameworks, data collection, KPI setting, and tracking.
- Support for Ambassadors in launching grassroots projects addressing gender inequality in tech.
Africa Agility Ambassadorship Program helps build a network of community champions driving change at the grassroots level.
Virtual Tech Roadshow
Raising awareness and inspire participation in Africa Agility programs across virtual platforms.
Key Activities:
- Online workshops, demonstrations, and interactive sessions to showcase program opportunities.
Virtual Tech Roadshow broadens Africa Agility’s reach and increase engagement across regions.
Webinars and Knowledge Series
Provides ongoing learning opportunities on relevant tech and professional topics.

- Hosting industry experts and thought leaders to deliver value-packed sessions.
- Engaging diverse audiences with practical knowledge on emerging trends.

Open Mic Discussion
The Open Mic Discussion offers a platform for our community members to share stories, seek guidance, and receive mentorship. It serves as a space to engage with peers, mentors, or professionals and fosters connection beyond our programs or training..
We encourage Alumni to share experiences, give back, and support each other. Insights from these sessions will be used to highlight success stories and foster Community growth.
